Fairfield House Recieves Top Rating from Food Standards Agency!

Fairfield House was recently inspected by the FSA(Food Standards Agency) and we are very proud to announce that we recieved a number 5 rating which is the highest rating that can be awarded.

At Fairfield House we are very passionate about the food we prepare for our residents and this certifcate is a great acknowledgement of all the hard work our kitchen staff have contributed. We look forward to maintaining this high standard and continuing to serve delicious food all year round.

Captain’s Table Lunch

Residents, old and new enjoyed a specially prepared four course lunch with the owner on 19th March. There was a great atmosphere and everyone took the opportunity to learn knew things about one another and welcome new residents. We look forward to many more Lunches at the Captain’s Table!

On Wednesday 25th January Fairfield House celebrated Burns Night. The day included an amazing performance from a bag pipe musician and an authentic menu featuring haggis and a scottish apple pie made by our residents.

New Minibus

Fairfield House has recently purchased a new luxurious Minibus that will enable us to take even more residents with us on our outings to various places such as, local shopping centres, tea rooms, gardens etc. The new Minibus has more seats and more space for wheelchair users which is great.

Chancery House, Bridport visits Fairfield House

Chancery House Day Care Centre visted us on Sunday 18th Sept for a World War 2 sing-a-long performance by Blitz and Peaces. A cheque for £200 was also presented to the Age Concern Charity which was raised with the help of our resident Bill Simpson.
