Residents at Fairfield House regularly enjoy a game of scrabble or two often with a sherry.

Did you know that scrabble and other word association games are really good for seniors and those with dementia as many people retain long term memories much better than short term memory. Not only are word games a source of brain stimulation they are also good for improving social skills and often leads to some interesting conversations.

Fairfield House Get Busy Baking

Baking at Fairfield House is always a popular activity with our residents, although decorating the cakes is great fun for everyone the best bit is always sampling the goods – without getting your mouth burnt!
